For the fifth consecutive year, the Castia Art association, in collaboration with Cantine Dolianova and The Net Value, celebrates Christmas by presenting the 2025 Collective Exhibition "Notturno".
Recent events have seen more and more clouds gathering in the sky and advancing across the horizon. There is a growing awareness that certain occurrences have indelibly marked recent times. Consequently, problems are changing and their solutions are becoming complex. Art must confront these explosions or implosions-often two sides of the same coin-and, although devoid of certainties, attempt to offer an answer or perhaps a glimmer of hope. In this context, the idea gradually emerged that the tragic circumstances of the period could be well represented in an atmosphere tending towards darkness, the blue of the night, for its implicit communicative power.
"Notturno" therefore serves as a symbol of interiority and reflection.
An exhibition as a sensory and aesthetic proposal that, on one hand, seeks to interpret the heaviness that oppresses us and, on the other, like an escape into a dream, offers an outlet or rather a guide to an ultimately liberating experience of intimate luminosity.
On display are works by: Francesca Sorrentino, Cicci Carlo Borghi, Elena Achilli, Luca Guaraglia, Paola Falconi, Carlo Nieddu Arrica; Davide Volponi, Enrica Badas, Cristian Castelnuovo, Alessia Usai, Floris, Josto Mura, Andrea Forges Davanzati, Venceslao Mascia, Daniela Nobile.
The exhibition can be visited exclusively by appointment from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
