For the first time since the dawn of computing, software creation is no longer an activity reserved solely for those who know how to code. Generative artificial intelligence is lowering a historic barrier, allowing ideas, needs, and visions to be transformed into digital solutions even without traditional technical training.
But what tools are at our disposal? How can we keep pace with technologies that change every day? In this talk, we will explore new programming trajectories, such as Context Engineering, Spec-Driven Development, and Vibe Coding, analyzing their potential and risks, especially for those approaching programming for the first time.
We will also look at the main tools that can be used to automate daily work processes and how to manage them consciously. Under the expert guidance of Fabrizio Casula, we will discover an approach where AI becomes a creative and operational partner, and where value shifts from "knowing how to code" to "knowing how to design."
This talk is open to everyone: from software developers who want to understand the new frontiers of programming to those who do not know how to code and want to understand the potential and risks of the new technologies that now impact our daily lives.

Speaker
Fabrizio Casula was born in Cagliari in 1969. The son of a station master and a homemaker, he grew up moving between various towns in Sardinia, developing curiosity and adaptability from a young age. He spent the most significant part of his youth in Arbatax, by the sea, a place that left a deep impression on him.
During his university years, he returned to Cagliari before love led him, in 1995, to Basel, where he built his family with Katja and their children Aaron and Thomas. He graduated in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Trieste. He trained and worked in the IT and hospital sectors between Italy and Switzerland.
Today, he works at the University Hospital of Bern and teaches artificial intelligence in various contexts. In recent years, he has found AI to be a powerful tool for bringing people closer to technology in a practical and human way, and he is particularly proud to be able to share this journey in his hometown.
